The Chateau reminds me of the old Wunder Bar,kind of upscale. The same Wunder Bar crowd. A nice place to meet after work. All of you professionals, such as automobile sales people, realtors, attorneys ect..... I have only hung out once, maybe it'll become a nice spot for me to hang out. I like to have conversation with my friends and laughter. It's located in a very nice spot Mid Town, near the Museum District which is a plus. The only thing that I recommend is that the Wine selection improves.Quality is good quanity is great. I love my juice and I don't mind paying for it. An price friendly chardonnay and white zin is cool, but what about a pinot grigio or pinot noir instead of merlot, which is really always heavy. I don't want to go on about my juice. So let's go to the next suggestion, when you say jazz, I was thinking maybe your more experienced artist from tje Houston area, such as Kyle Turner or Dean James, those guys may cost a little more, but you'll see a more stable crowd. Stable crowds means, stable clientel, stable business. I like this spot. I would love to hear quality entertainment here. Guys you know that a way to a lady 's heart is great jazz, well this lady anyway. Just pay 10.00 to 20 .00 sometime, it's worth it. Especially to keep our African American establishments going, like the others. I f you know what I mean. Nubian Doll

The music was very enjoyable. I too had issues with the dj, he talked endlessly on the mic throughout the songs. Not Good! But the club floor plan is nice. The dance floor could have been just a bit larger for bigger parties, but overall it worked for those of us over 40't. I went on a Sat. night, got there around 11PM. I would say about 70 people were there, (3) in there twienties, (6) 30's, all others 40 +. That's right! no kids, and very little rap. I plan to make another stop by on a Friday. it just may become my next hang out. See You there! Nice Way to go Chateau!!! Studio80'23
Pros: It only cost $5.00 at the door
Cons: DJ over talking.
